Team FAQs

How do I join or form a team?
If you haven’t registered for the Race yet, you can click here to register online and select “Start a Team” or “Join a Team.” Search for the name of the team you want to join and select it. If you are already registered for the Race, you need to contact the Race Teams committee if you want to form or join a team.

One of my team members registered as an individual when they meant to join my team. How do they correct this?
Thank you for registering for the Race. In order to change your registration from individual to team member, please send an email to with the individual’s name and the team name they’d like to be added to.

What is a Team Page?
Your Team page is a Web page that people can visit to find a team member or give a donation that supports the fundraising efforts of the entire team. Although the default Team page contains sample text and photos, your Team Captain can customize this page to make it a creative expression of the Team commitment to Komen and our fight against breast cancer.

How do I register if my company is paying my registration fee?
Your company must contact us to set up your team as a corporate pay for online. A special designation will be given to you to provide to registrations. It can be set up for your company to pay a dollar amount or a percentage of the fee.

What happens if my team does not have 10 people on it by the October 10th deadline?
You can still register a team member over race weekend.  Please make sure last minute members have the Team Name and Number.  They will need this information when they register.  They will pick up their bib and T-Shirt individually during the Onsite Registration Days instead of at the Team Packet Pickup Day.  The last minute add-ons will not count toward largest team on Race day, but their fundraising dollars will count for the Team that has raised the most fundraising dollars.

When and where do I bring my team registration forms for participants who did not register online?
Team Captains should bring completed entry forms (with signature), payment, and fundraising dollars for any participants who did not register online to Komen Inland Empire office 43397 Business Park Drive Suite D-9, Temecula.  We will be there on Saturday, October 4th from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and Tuesday, October 7th from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m.

When is the last day to register for a team Online? 
Online Registration for Teams closes October 17, 2014.  Team participants registered by October 10th will have their Race T-Shirt and bib available for early Team pick-up. Participants registering after the October 10th deadline will need to pick-up their Race T-Shirt and bib at an individual pick-up time and date.  Please click here for hours of operation.

When do I pick up my Team’s t-shirts and race bibs?
Your team packet will be available for pick-up from Saturday, October 11th through Thursday, October 16th outside Macy’s Women’s Store, Lower Level at the Wall of Hope in the Promenade Temecula.   Please e-mail for an appointment to pick-up your packet.  Click here for available times.

What do I do if I cannot come to Team Packet Pickup event by Thursday, October 16th? Can I pick up my Team’s t-shirts and race bibs later?
October 16th is the last time to pick up assembled Team Packets. All Team Packets not picked up by October 16th will be disassembled. The members of your team can pick up their t-shirts and race bibs individually at Onsite Registration the weekend of the event please click here for our hours of operation.
